Iterative -

for(int counter=str.length -1 ; counter>=0;counter--){
strBuffer.append(str.charAt(counter));
}
return strBuffer;
}

Recursive -

public static String getReverseString(String str){

}
return (getReverseString(str.subString(1)) + str.charAt(0);
}
